Consulting, Art Direction and Graphic Design for Lena Späth's book on Interior Design in Iran.
"Behind Closed Curtains" is the first Interior Design book about Iran and seeks to close the gap left behind by so many book publishers and interior design books.
The book is more than simply a hybrid between a photo book and a coffee table book. It presents the distant and unreachable, then brings it within reach while making it attainable. It does so by presenting the personal stories of the people who own these spaces and the detail layering the decision-making processes. These, alongside DIY tutorials and background history on traditional Persian decoration objects and furniture, act as moments of pause to catch your breath in-between the awe-inspiring large-scale images.
